    Wanted: Mercruiser FORD V8

Yes, OMC used ford engines for quite a while. However, the main reason for acquiring an old engine is to get the parts necessary to mate up with my Alpha One (bell housing, shift plates, motor mounts, thermostat housing, starter, alternator & brackets, etc...). The engine itself, heads, intake...

    Wanted: Mercruiser FORD V8

Ford took a big step back from marine applications in the late 70's. Early Donzis used them as did many manufactures to that point. Volvo was a big partner with Ford too. That's why there are so many about. The SBF is shorter, narrower and lighter than a SBC. It has great power potential...

Is yours an "Interceptor"? We'll stick a pin in that... Thanks for the great offer. I believe these to be plentiful, and was hoping to find one closer.

    Wanted: Mercruiser FORD V8

Since I decided to keep the Donzi, I'll need some parts. Specifically looking for a 302 /351 SBF very cheap! An unit out of service unit or old runner is okay. Basically I will be building a new performance long block and need all the ancillary parts. Bell housing, starter, alternator...

    NEW PROJECT!!!

Scored a really great AIR GUIDE speedometer this week. It's a deck mount in a chrome bullet housing (called model #707 Dolphin). I'm looking in to having the guts retrofitted as a GPS speedometer. This is also cool as the factory dash plate only has room for five gauges (only one big one) and...

    NEW PROJECT!!!

There are some pictures here... http://www.donzi.net/forums/showthread.php?70380-Okay-we-re-gunna-do-this I don't use a photobucket (or similar) type account. So, I can only upload photos to sites that support them.

    NEW PROJECT!!!

Well, since I am keeping this boat I decided to get to work even though it's -20 and my driveway needs shovelling. This work however, is the planning stage so, it's not like I'm getting my hands dirty yet. Although planning is a very important part of any project and not to be taken lightly...

FS: 1965 Donzi Ski Sporter 16 (also called Sweet Sixteen)

Decided not to sell. Restoring this is still cheaper than therapy. :) I would have liked a larger boat but, then I would need a new truck plus a place to keep a bigger boat. Oh, life's problems.... :) :) :)

    NEW PROJECT!!!

I had been looking to sell my Donzi, however, as It really isn't that much $ tied up and I have lots of time I've decided to just keep her (forever?). Its been a while for the 16SS to be just a sittin'. However, I have managed to acquire a complete Alpha drive from a member on the Donzi...

    TIBS

Wow. The boat show was DESOLATE last night. I worked the booth from 1 - 5 PM and we had a few people. I probably didn't notice anything because I was always engaged in conversation... with somebody (we had 10 volunteers). But, at 5PM I went for a walk through the show and there was nobody there...
