welcome to the forum!! some do wax the bottom of the boat but at least make sure you wash it. not washing the bottom of the boat can bring unwanted species like zebra mussels and may other things form the boat's past lake.

the difference in the most of the alphas is gearing. the inline 6 puts out a lot of torque and torque kills outdrives. but you should be fine but if you are at all in doubt upgrade to a different alpha. I think gearing would be more of a concern then breakage

Kind of the same. if I eat seafood (even canned tuna) it turn my stomach into well an atomic bomb to put it nice. it is wierd because growing up we had a catfish or bass fry almost every other weekend. then just one time we were out and I got sick and ever since then to this day it messes me up.

thats a big lobster. now if only I could eat seafood.

this is one of those times I wish I chose a different line of work that would be an awesome job to have.

thats cool that you have your dad's truck that he bought new. I found my grandfather's 1980 f100 that he had since 1982 but I had to let it go because it needed to much work and it was my daily driver so I needed a better and bigger truck.
