ok floor is out. the only rot is were the driver seat is. I am going to add some support because I am not putting the ski locker back in. then new floor.

ok I got to do some more work on the floor before my wife went to work.* here is what I have done and what I found. and here is why the floor was so bad on the passenger side.* water was trapped under the floor.

I figured that I would share my rebuild with everyone since I read so many on the checkmate forum. my boat is a 1990 harris-kayot ultima 20 and the floor is gone. so I started to rebuild it. yesterday I removed the seats and carpet.

my wife is more of a land wife that tolerates my boating lol. she enjoys going out but not for more that two to three hours.

I like to float but if I could get the boat I want it would do over a hundred easy. just for when I have the itch to fly.

it is also my wife philosophy on boating. all she wants to do is float, go slow, and relax.
