Saving space on a boat

Are you a "minimalist" or "immoderate" boater, i.e. do you bring the bare minimum aboard or do you bring it all, to prepare every possible contingency? If you're the latter, where do you put it all and how do you stow it? This is how we try to keep the insanity within reasonable, tolerable levels so we're not swimming in a sea of our own clutter: Saving space on our boat.
