Nice boat JW, all the four winns at my lake are all I/O's, I don't think I've ever seen a O/B.

I also think the 2100br is one of the nicest o/b boats around, I think that is a fair price espiecialy with the low hours and if you ever want to get rid of it you can sell it easily because it is sought after boat.

Try taking the spark plugs out and dry them off and then spray a small amount of gas in to the cylinders before you put the plugs back in, it should fire and might only run for a few seconds, if it dies try it again.

My dad had a 1972 18' Fiberform with a 120hp mercuiser when I was a kid, solid boat, he bought it in 1978 and sold it in 1991, I have alot of good memories from that boat.

?????? I've only done it myself once, put it in forward like you did, put it back in and turned the prop both ways a bit to get it in and everything worked fine. maybe I got lucky, and there is a secret. I'm gonna stay tuned and see.

I think Yamaha is a good product, I have a 1985 25 hp yamaha on my fishing boat that I have had since new and the only thing I have done to it is change spark plugs and clean the carbs a few times, it has seen heavy use, when I was a kid I would run it all day every weekend, it was submerged...

It would be a good idea to check the water pump, and I would also change the gear oil in the lower unit. good luck :cheers:
