Nice boat, I had a smaller 1989 Sea Ray 180 BR with 135 merc, it sure beat out anything else that old as far as quality and fit and finish goes, even had factory hydraulic steering.:thumb:

Yup, it's frozen, those pics were taken in early may, the ice on are lakes doesen't drop until about the 15th or 20th of may, got to love Saskatchewan. I can never wait until the ice all goes before I get the boat out. :bigthumb:

Here are some pics of the 78 avenger w/200 3.0 venom, manual j/p, sea star pro steering, 26 pitch raker prop, 82 mph. I am looking for another one of these boats, if anyone has any info that would be great, also if you have one of these and need info on the setup I would be glad to help.

I have two nice mercury racing life jackets with the straps on them the strap can be annoying but fly out of your boat at 80 mph and you'll be glad you have them, if you are just doing normal boating, I wouldn't be affraid to take them off, like Chris said they are a nice jacket.

That does sound funny A guy had one on are lake also, it was old but he had a newer 30 Yamaha on it. I can't remember what they were called either. There was also a guy that had a thing that kind of looked like a surf board with a seadoo engine in it, I think it was called a ski pal or jet...

PS by the way you just don't find boats like this in sask anymore, everyone wants a big wakeboard or pontoon boat :shakehead:
