Make sure you drain your block and manifold(s) before running the anti-freeze. My 4.3 V6 will hold about 2.5 litres of mercury anti freeze in the block this winter. I store in a heated underground garage.

Politics knows no bounds... I doubt that this shutdown will affect boaters very much (at least with their boating). Maybe some of those "non essential" government workers can spend some quality time on the waterways untill they are recalled netting an increase in boating.... well, it's a theory.
