Wow.
That's a neat story and development.
Humber boats had a small electric boat at the Toronto Boat Show last year, but the fact that someone can develop a full tournament electric ski boat that can do 40 MPH is a rather suprising revelation.
I like it! :thumb:

This boat was located at the entrance to the show. After this one, it's time to head inside the actual show! :)
Here's the price if you're in a "buyin' mood". :D
Here's one last one of the antique racer. :)
Here are some shots of a runabout that was part of the display. I believe it was made by Duke Boats and was a Canadian Nymph. :thumb:
Have you tried pulling the cowel and looking at where the contol box cables hook up? One cable will be for the throttle and one will be for the shift mechanism. It should be pretty obvious once the cowel is off.
Typically how the system works, is that the shift cable will hook up to a shift...
Chris, do you ever go to the in-water new boat shows?
I think they have one in Orillia in the summer some time. There is also another down in Toronto Harbour too.

Welcome aboard Creepin - nice to have you with us. :thumb:

I've started putting up some pics in our event thread. :)
Look for a few pics to go up every few days or so.
I hope you enjoy! :thumb:

Today marked the day when we take our annual trip to the Toronto International Boat Show. :)
The weather was quite cold with the temperatures hovering around -12 Celsius and with the windchill supposedly it felt like -20 Celsius - at...
Hey Gang,
We just returned from the 2011 Toronto International Boat Show. :)
There were quite a few people there I'm happy to report. We managed to take quite a few pics, it's always hard though when there are a lot of people in the way. Yolie is really under the weather, so yours truly had...
I'm sure there must be a lot of spots you can just pull up to for gas, food etc.
I would imagine a decent GPS would probably be a big help as well. :)
