Since you seem to have some interest in construction quality, you might want to do a little searching on Google for some of the different construction methods used in Fiberglass boat building. Google some terms like "hand laid fiberglass" ..."chopper gun"...."vacuum bagging" etc. You'll find...

What do you perceive as their reputation being bad for? Since the mid 80's, Bayliner has been owned by Brunswick, the same company that owns Mercury Marine and a number of other boat brands. To me, Bayliner is more of a mass production entry level boat, but the approach they use...

There are pros and cons to each, I guess at the end of the day you have to look at how you use the boat and decide which one fits your needs better. I like outboards as I can use them earlier and later in the year without as much worrying about freezing issues. They also have a great power...

Much better! :thumb: I don't know where the heck the guys around Toronto get their supplies. It's not like we have any chain stores selling marine supplies. There are a couple of West Marines here and there, but whenever I've gone there they seem as expensive as hell. That might be one spot...
