Change impeller

Hi,
I had to take my 2002, 130 hp, Honda outboard (800 hours of use)apart because it leaked oil when tilted.
Since the gearcase is sitting in my workshop, should I change the waterpump impeller now or should I stick with ""if it ain´t broke,don´t fix it" ?

Yes change it now, better safe than sorry, I change mine every 3 years, they recommend every 2 years.

I would change it as well....it's an important and often overlooked maintenance item.

welcome to the forum and yes I would replace it. it is rather easy.
