"Wanted" 1973 to 1990 25 HP Johnson short shaft motor w/ manual rope start.

You shouldn't need too much in the way of a tow vehicle for the tin boat. It's fairly light, so almost anything can do the job. We just used to throw ours on the roof racks of many of our cars and pop the motor in the trunk. :) -Chris

    Hell's Bay Settles Splashing Lawsuit

Yeah, the splashing laws are somewhat of a new development. So it will be interesting to see how they will hold up in the courts. I guess in this case things were settled in advance of court proceedings though. -Chris

What is up with the Flippin' Weather?

We tried to get rolling last weekend with the '09 cottage season, and needless to day we got snowed out and couldn't get in! :irked: What a disappointing drag! We went and got a bunch of groceries in advance, packed up the car with all of "stuff" and headed up north. And it was flippin'...

NMMA Estimates Half of Marine Industry Unemployed

In a recent report, The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) estimated that as of March 2009, approximately one half of the marine industry is currently unemployed. :eyecrazy: :yikes: I would say that is a fairly staggering number although probably not unexpected either given the...

    Fuel tank capacity???

Well basically the story as I remember it, was that Javelin was bought by Stratos around the turn of the milenium. And for a few years, Stratos built both the Stratos line and Javelin which was basially sold as a line within the Stratos family. Then a point came in time where the Javelin name...

    Fuel tank capacity???

Yeah, could be right. Many of the BB have pretty big tanks for tournaments. If you could find an old sales brochure, they probably list the tank size in the specs. And if there are any optional sizes they would most likely be listed as well. I found this for sale listing and the details...

    Fuel tank capacity???

Assuming you can figure out the approximate tank in cubic inches, you can then covert using this site. http://www.onlineconversion.com/volume.htm The conversion works out to approximately be 231 cubic inches equals 1 U.S. liquid gallon. Hope that helps. :) -Chris
