I had a friend name his boat sea hag. I asked him why he named it that. He said he named it after his wife. I laughed and said that's not nice. He said he named it that so if they divorced he did not have to change the name. :rof:
a dry transom is a good thing. a wet transom is bad. a dry rot transom is a bad thing. I would venture to guess that the out drive needs to be resealed or the bellows are leaking.
Rocky front :( below is the lowest ramp of three from the park we always used when we lived there. the water is now about two miles from the ramp. all that is there is that small stream of water. just about all the area in the picture should be under water.
here is the same area in 2009...
the bad part is that we have water for now in Waco but if we do not get rain soon we may not by the end of the summer. my original lake (lake travis) is already 50 feet low already before the summer has even started. I wish we had some of the flood water from up north.

the bulb and the line to the tank is new but the line to the motor is older. if the fuel valve and older cap does not fix it I will replace the rest of the line
watch for the water temperature, and just how the motor responds. they are just like car engines. also walk around all the floors and see how clean the engine compartment is. It will tell you a lot about the up keep of the boat by the engine compartment. If you are not sure about it have a...
