time to dive into a long waiting project

ok so I sold my pontoon to my parents but they are letting me use it anytime and keep it here if I want.
now on to the next project. they called me this morning and said that they did not want me to go look for another boat because at my price it would be a piece. instead they want me to work on my 1983 chaparral 235 xlc I have at their house. so I guess here I go to get this boat back together. here are some pictures from a few years ago.

I know but that is what my dad wants my to do and he is willing to help pay for the resto. I am going to get in a few weeks to start see exactly what she needs. please pray for me as I would prefer not to do it but like I said it is what my dad wants to do.

Heck, no.
I think it'd be fun to do. Especially if the cost burden is shared a bit.
I can see that your parents want the boat at their place to actually work (not just a driveway ornament) ....I'd be like that too

the fun part will be that I get to pick it up from their 5 acre place and bring it to my house in a neighborhood. o well I did like parking in the drive way anyways
