NOAA is using robot boats to improve tropical storm weather forcasting. Way to go NOAA.

I agree. I thot of oceanography, weather and marine bio for a career, but never pursued them. I kind of still lean in those directions and use my interests in a more practical way. In other words, my interests weren't/aren't wasted. Heh, heh.
