Proline Dual Console windshield

I screwed up and broke the driver's side windshield on my 1993 Proline 193 Dual Console. According the Taylor Made it isn't availible they gave me a number of a company that specializes in obsolete parts. The price was way too high. Does anyone know if there is a marine salvage yard option or any suggestions. It is a curved winshield and thats the problem.

Let me check with Coop, who is one of our members and we'll see if he knows where one can be had. :)

Windshields, can be problematic. Taylor Made pitches everything after so many years.

I don't have a big list of salvage yards for boats, wish I did.

But there is one good source I've found on the net.

These guys buy out everybody it seems. Lots of windshields for sale, they even had one for my Sidewinder guys.

They do a ton of business on ebay, so you can see a lot of thier inventory there.

Do you do just the glass or do/will you also make a frame around the glass with hardware [hings, ect,] If needed to compleate say a center part of a windshild the you would need to swing open to the left side so you can walk up to the bow of the boat??? thanks just curious.

windows

i've done bow runner windshields...i use polyethylene (black or white)and mill the frames from that...unlike aluminum or stainless it will last forever and is very easy to keep clean...the hardware is the usual metals.
hope this helps
thanks
