Lundman A-14
Member
Been awhile since I have visited the site,so I dropped by for a visit. Anyway,I
would like to share with you my plans of maybe purchasing a new Lund within the next six to eight months if all goes according to plan. I knew that when I
bought my 1973 Sea Nymph 14R back in March of this year that it was not going to be a "forever" boat, and that eventually when times will hopefully be better economically,I would consider trading it off and returning to Lund. Well, that is,..at least,..a plan for now. The model Lund I am wanting to seriously consider is the WC-16 with a 25 HP EFI four stroke Mercury tiller
steer outboard that has electric start. Second choice is an SSV-16 with
a 40 HP EFI Mercury four stroke tiller steer outboard that also has electric start. I have had two 14 ft. utility-v bottoms in my lifetime and it is time to move up to a 16 ft. utility-v bottom. I would also consider a nice used Lund
S-16 from 1990 on up,...if one can be found,...with a 40 HP Mercury tiller
steer motor. Lund has a new boat out called a WD-14 that I might consider if I could not get anyone of the 16 footers. It is rated for 25 HP,but I would opt for a 20 HP Mercury four stroke instead,as long as it has electric start,...tired of yanking on starting ropes!
