They look neat, but they're probably a bit dangerous.

It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye! :p

Haven't these things been banned in most places by now?

If the government hasn't banned them, the insurers and liability exposure alone has made them unsaleable.

Has anyone seen kite wakeboarding? It is really interesting you have an arched kite that you hang on to and then you are also strapped onto a wake board....when your kite catches wind, it lifts you up to 20' into the air and you can do tricks, flips and spins. I saw a couple of guys at our lake doing it and was instantly intrigued. I have attached a couple of video clips found on web for your viewing pleasure.

I think it looks like awsome fun!!!!

So what is the latest on Kite Tubing. Is it totally banned by now or is anyone still doing it? Don't know why it would be considered more dangerous than some of the other extreme sports but maybe it is more dangerous for the other people that are out on the water. :surf:
