I know I had a blast in 1976 when I went to the boat show in Chicago. I was working for Baja at the time. I left on a Sunday morning at 4:00am and finally got the boats unloaded at 1:00am Monday morning.We set in line for 15 hrs waiting to get unloaded. There was a roachcoach that went up and down the line of trucks, they had to make a killing off of the people waiting in line.I was their for six days.Their were boats, boats and more boats I remember that Checkmate was on the top floor(I didn't know anyone from Checkmate at that time). This was a great experience for a 21 year old from Bucyrus McCormick Place was awesome.This was also the year that Baja burnt down when it was on Jones Street in Bucyrus. Flew back to Bucyrus in Bajas plane that was an experience also. As you can see I have been around boats along time. Alan
