Well i'm starting to rebuild a glastron i saved from the scrap yard.it's a glastron gx-239 ultra. body is in decent shape .its stripped though.wet sanded the hull and started buffing it she is coming back nice.hey chris how do i attatch pics over here?

well until i can post pics ill just have to tell ya what im doing.Im going to try and do a budget build. something anybody could do . First off i bougt the boat for 200.00 us. and a trailer for 300.00 us the trailer is ugly but it has surge brakes and it fits. I got a complete 260 merc drive gimble and all they cut the transome around it and i got it for free!!!!! I have a sbc 400 that i will change the head gaskets and intake and cam.so all i need now is exhaust manifolds and a trim pump.oh and a motor harness for mercruiser.so if anybody has one for sale let me know.:devil:

looks like a great starting point. glastron is a great boat. espcially when they were being built in my home town of austin tx.

not bad for the 500.00 that i have in it.she will turn out nice. i think i will keep this one for myself and not flip it.:devil:

What ya see in the red is me and the ground.and i got the hatch back on it.and the gimble in it.I also got the code [i think] for the key pad start.I'll know when i get all the wiring fixed they cut when they stripped it.
