Conversation with a Larson man today

I talked to a man from LARSON today, via e-mail. I didn't realize it, that they build the following boats:


1) LARSON
2) Glastron
3) SeaSwirl

and a new boat (to me anyhow),

4) Fincraft


He said that they are down about 50% of their workforce.

Yeah, Larson is owned by Genmar.

Genmar is the parent company of even more brands too.

Irwin Jacobs. He wants a boat building empire. Tried buying Baja by buying the notes from the bank. Doug trumped him by selling it to Brunswick.

He wants to build 10,000 of those little Fincrafts a year. Working like crazy on the new models so they can have a whole line of them. Claims using VEC technology he can build a Fincraft hull every 32 minutes.
