    Boat Chase

Maybe Greenpeace is in the little boats. That would make sense. I was wondering why Greenpeace was chasing people around in boats. I didn't mean to post anything bad. I apologize if I shouldn't have posted this. I just thought it was pretty amazing the way that dude could handle that big boat...

    CLEANING MY ALUMINUM

Hey hillbilly, that's a very interesting solution. I figured coil cleaner might dull/oxidize the aluminum. Which kind did you use?

    Brunswick Discontinues Maxxum Production

My father in law works for Triton who Brunswick also owns now. It's pretty bad. He works in R&D and their hours are cut. Drive by the plant and it's a sad sight. The yard went from always having a few hundred boats stacked on trucks and endless racks full of boats ready to be loaded on trucks...

    62/63 merc controller

I have come across a lot of good links in my quest to find manuals and arts to fit my boat. That third link seems to be a pretty resourceful place. They claim to have some old rare manuals that are out of print that they can make copies of for people. The site just isn't laid out the best.

    62/63 merc controller

Try these two links. The first is a site for vintage outboard part, the second for parts and maybe manuals, and the third is a place that says they have tons of old manuals(parts too). The third is a little hard to navigate but stick with it, after you figure it out it's a pretty good site...

    What grease should I use?

Thanks for the responses. So I can use triple guard or the 2-4-c for pretty much anything? I'll have to see what the boat shop has. I wondered about the green grease because autozone has it and the manufacturer claims it's ok for marine. if it was ok then I wouldn't have to drive as far to get...

    What grease should I use?

Thanks Chris. Have you ever heard of Green Grease? greengrease.net. is the website. It's supposed to be great for usage around and in water. It's supposed to be some awesome stuff. Waterproof, high pressure, high temp, anti corrosion etc. Didn't know if this would be OK since I already have a...

    New Boater

Thanks for the welcome guys. I've been browsing alot and this seems like a fun friendly place. My boat isn't really an old classic or anything. It's just a 17' 1981 BassTracker with a 40hp Merc. o/b. I really had not intended on buying a project boat. I just wanted to hit the water and fish. But...
