Living up in Canada, our long weekend was actually last week versus this past weekend like the U.S. On our long weekend, it poured rain for two out of the three days and the third day was cold! Anyhoo, here are a few shots from boat ride we took on Sunday when the weather was really nice. :)

Here is a link to an article which claims boaters won't be held back because of rising fuel costs. It's an interesting article, but speaking from personal experience, we choose to use our smaller boat over the Checkie and the main reason is fuel costs. What are your thoughts? Will rising...

Any idea where they went Alan? My Dad used to be a real avid fisherman and he used to go to all kinds of crazy places where you could only fly in via a float plane. Some of the size of fish he caught were just insane. And he threw the majority of them back before it was cool too.

I'm finishing up the day burning up some brush that has falling over the winter. A nice way to finish off a beautful day. Even if it was a big "buggy". :)

Attaching the ramp is always fun. :eyes: The hip-waders make life a little easier. I use a winch mounted on a poll to winch up the ramp to the right height. ;) Sheeba loves standing on the end of the dock and barking at boats, so she's supervising and making sure everything is done to spec. :D

Here are a few pictures from this weekend. It was seriously buggy this weekend! Lots of mosquitos so I had a bug cover my head a lot of the weekend especially on Sunday. The big project for the weekend was putting the docks in. Here are a few pics...

The story about the one fella who is not too well, was a sad story. Sometimes things in life just take a while to work out for the better. When you're right in the middle of going through it all though, it seems like you'll never make it through.

Hi Jack, Welcome to the board. Silly question, but do you know that one exists? I know some of the boat manufacturers make generic type owner's manuals which cover a variety of models and just give basic maintenance and care instructions. For the motor, that manual would come from the...

Welcome aboard! I'm a fellow Canadian, so I appreciate you joining up and joining us. You're right, we don't see too many western Canadians joining up. I guess there is lots of big water boating, but less inland boating. You'll have to post up some pics of your area. :)
