I didnt get a chance to look at this yet... its more of a "bother" than a show stopper. I can throttle quickly, and it goes pretty well. It's really if i try to run slow around 1800-2200 rpm...I can hear the intake...but no power, and the rpm's fluctuate... IN my world(not always right) this...

found this little resource, pretty handy.. Mine was a decent sized "mushroom" style... i must have looked like a noob... but like I said, I wasnt the only one.... LOL so danforth/fluke, or plow style is good... keep the mushroom one for the lakes as well...

oh man! took last tuesday off as previously mentioned. Coralville Lake, here in Iowa. had an OUTSTANDING day! turns out there is a little restaurant(bar) on the lake. Wife and kids took me there via the lake for early bday present... Docking the boat and having a cold beer and fresh grilled...

yep! totally agree. rented Ozarks condo in late July! Can't wait! thats where it started. On a whim last year, rented condo and boat last summer right before school started. Even though the boat we got was kind of a pile, I had the most fun ive had in years...and the 10 mile wide smiles on...

it is interesting...I DO want to know...but when you're having fun...gas cost tends to ruin my mojo LOL thus the "smiles per gallon" My wife wants to try a river run this summer, from burlington, Iowa, to Ft MAdison.. looks to be about 20-25 miles, by map. Cruise down, and eat at a riverfront...

LOVE it! ATV's are my thing! Spent the last 6-7 yrs with Yamaha Raptors. 660 and 700. Got out of it to give boating a shot. More family oriented... Let me tell you, There aren't many things that are MORE fun than cruising a quad on some dunes. have fun! Just make them wear helmets.
