Make sure you have the right size fuse and that it is not hooked up wrong.

I would say fuel pump. may have small hole in the diapham so it can't keep up. or fuel filter.

depending on where they are depends on how hard they are. I had one boat where they were behind the seat so it was easy. I had one were it was behind the motor those were a pain.

Thanks I have always liked the wooden boats. I think I may just to find one for my next project.

There is alot of possiblities but the motor are a lot like a car engine. if they sounds fine but was just slugish it could just need the carbs cleaned and a tune up.
