    I don't think there is a bad time of day to be on the water but my favorite is sunset and then after dark, nothing like leaving the kids with the grandparents and heading out in the moonlight with my wife for a midnight cruise, can't beat it :thumb:

    I wish we just had boat waves to deal with, not sure how many acers it is but its BIG, I think about 7 x 9 miles, here is a pic from saturday of May long weekend last year, not much boating going on that day, we get good 4-5 ft waves out in the middle on a day like this.
