viking dream sicle the year ?

don't know year a buddy of mine it has a viking dream sicle around18 ft,. motor 175 inboard ,aqua colored,the out drive is off but on the transom never seen one it has a round gear with like 8 tabs coming out of transom and on either side small gears i asume for up down side to side any one know what this is ?outdrive?

To start without seeing photos here, maybe the drive is an OMC Stringer series as they had a few models numbers/names such as OMC 400 - 800 - Stringer electric shift stern drive...

Is the stern drive white in color?

Aqua Blue may also be the indication the engine is an OMC.
