Tech Tools

That one says it only does 2 or 4 cylinder models.

A few years back I ordered a tool from this guy.

Chris, I believe it says 2 or 4 cycle (not cylinders)
Anyway, I was just wondering if anybody had any knowledge of it or maybe knew of one they used and trusted.

I went to the link you mentioned... nice stuff.

I was in Fort Collins, CO. one time and watched this guy test a multiple cylinder engine with a spark tester that could check 8 cylinders at the same time. All the lead wires attached to this one device. ( I have wanted one ever since I started working more and more on Outboards) I only have a spark tester that will check 1 at a time, and I had a Tiny Tach until it broke, I reverted back to my Treysit Serometer (or Vibro-tach)

I just need more than that to feel accurate and more professional.

My bad, you're right on the tester - I read the specs wrong.

I thought the Mastertech guy had a similar tester to what you described, but the picture of the one he has isn't showing up.

The one he had (I thought) was like a flat bar and you hooked the lead wires on to each side of it. It then has a spot in the center which visually shows the spark of each lead. I'm not sure if that's the same style of tester you were looking for.
