Sea Ray will idle their Knoxville Tennessee plant for three months starting July 6, 2009.

This is the second plant Sea Ray has shut down this past year.

Well I've heard the expression "last man standing" but at this rate you could have "the last boat floating".

Well when two of the top companies in the marine industry, Brunswick and Genmar are struggling as they are, it illustrates just how tough things are.

The boating and marine industry has been absolutely hammerered during this downturn.

Many have felt the impact.

Hopefully things will turn around shortly.
