I am refurbig a 1979 Prairie trawler. Much of the work is self evident and I have replaced the flooring, electrical system, vaccuflush, water heater, etc. But I am stuck on how to go about replacing the portholes. They are in bad shape and I dont have a clue. Is there any size standard so that I can buy a new porthole to replace an existing one or will I have to do a lot of rework on the boat? Is there any recommended way to approach the problem? Is there any suggested source of replacement portholes that wont break the bank?
