Ordering Boat parts experience

:offtopic:Has anyone ever ordered parts of boatfix.com? I have and it has been over a week now and my order has not even been shipped even though I have been constantly on top of it. Now it is ready to ship by the products I ordered factory but still sitting there until the intermediate between boatfix and them pick it up. In mean time we can not use our boat while waiting for this part. They say on their sight they have 9 warehouses nation wide so suppose to get parts fast.
Don't you believe it. Now:mad: they do not answer their phone calls and e mails either.
I just want my parts so we can use our boat.:surf: Any suggestions out there how to get them to get on the horn and satisfy their customers.:brickwall:

Some places do a good job at keeping up with ordered parts And some places SAY they do good but never fallow thru, And need a little:poke: every once in a while;), So it makes it hard to trust the online ordering system Sometimes when you know you need it fast. By the way Ahoylynn what kind of part did you need to get the boat running again? Good luck with it.

The problem is that many websites are simply store fronts. So what happens is you place an order with them and then they just call other places to arrange for the delivery of the items.

I don't want to put words in RNC's mouth, but I think that's what he eluding to.

There are many good places out there though including local dealers. :)

You are right, At least for me being able to go to a local dealer just some times makes you feel a little better knowing you have a better chance At finding and getting the right parts you need, Because at lest you talked to some one about the parts you need and in some cases you might even help look up the part's with the part's dealer.:thumb:
