Hello all! I am a new member here. I have been boating since I was a kid and just recently bought my first boat! It is a 96 Javelin 379 FS. My name is Tom and, yes I am from Texas. Can't wait to get back there either. I am currently overseas on a deployment for the Army. So, I got to put my boat on the water twice before I got here and found out I got some work to do! I believe the prop has a spun hub cause when I tried opening it up past around 4400 rpm, it raced the engine and didn't gain any speed. Hopefully, while I am waiting to get back home, I can educate myself enough to solve some issues with it! Looking forward to learning and sharing with you all!
