Hello Everyone,
My name is Jason, I'm considering purchasing a 1988 Fabuglas, but I'm having a hard time finding any reviews on the Fabuglas brand? Any opinions or thoughts would be appreciated. Best Regards,

Hi Jason,

Welcome to the forums - thanks for joining us.

I've heard of the Fabuglas brand, as I've seen the odd classified ad kicking around for them - but I don't know much about the brand than that to be honest.

I believe they are now out of business, but they built boats as far back as the 60's if I'm not mistaken.

I guess the reality is that once a boat gets to be 20 years old, it could be in great shape or very poor shape depending on how it was cared for. At this point, that might be the larger issue for you.

I'd be interested to see some pics if you end up taking some. Maybe if we're lucky, some other Fabuglas owners and enthusiasts will see your thread and chime in. :)

Let me know when you're ready to go and I'll create a Fabuglas gallery category for you to load the pics up to. :)

Thank you all again for the information and video. After checking out the Fabuglass advertised, my family and I decided not to get it. The upholstery was in pretty bad shape and it took some partial disassembly of the ignition and throttle panel to get it started. We ended up finding a 1988 Sea Ray Seville 100 hp force, in the same price range, excellent condition. I am currently having the local marine shop go through the compression check on the engine. If all goes well, we'll have a boat some time next week. Thank you again Jason:)
