New to the forum
I started boating at 15 with my dad’s 1954 Owens Cruiser (50hp. Johnson) at our cottage by a lake in Northern Alberta.
In 77 refinished the hull and mounted a new 75hp. Chrysler on it.
Got married….got 2 boys.
In 89 purchased a new 200 BR Sea Ray 260hp Cobra.
Spent a couple of weeks at Lake Powell in 95 (That is a boaters Heaven)
Got a taste of Salt water fishing at Campbell River B.C. in 2003.
In 2006 purchased a VX2500 Hydra Sports twin 200 Yamahas (The wife picked out this one)In Sarnia Ontario. That was a 7 day trip from home.
The boys are using the Sea Ray now at the cottage.
Been to Prince Rupert a couple of times with the Hydra Sports (Just can’t keep away form the Salmon and Halibut).
Still water ski every so often, but just like to Fish, ride and watch.
So you know my wife and I both love boating.
Been around them now for some 37 years, and always learning.
Hope to get to Campbell River this year, It's beautiful there too.
