Looks like I finally found a found that is active which is great.

I don't have a background in boating, but my wife and I have recently come into posession of a 19' North American inboard - which needs some serious work.

Welcome aboard. You may not get an answer until later on today but I'm sure one of the pros can help you with your question. Many of them are at work during the day. There is a lot of expertise on this site and the associated checkmate-boats site. I always like to see questions about different boats because that is the way I learn.
