Thank-You for the support!
I finished 7th out of 42 very nice boats.

I suppose I'll still have to pay my entrance to the Clayton museum tho.... :)

It's funny, I don't usually fish for compliments on my boat. I love my boat but, I am always happy to hear others appreciation.(and it does draw some attention)

In this case I asked for the support for a couple of reasons...

1) It was a contest and the prize was admission to the museum, some museum swag and a ride in a real vintage race boat.

2) the other entrants were obviously soliciting "likes" so I thought I needed to do this also in order have a chance.

3) At all the Antique and Classic wood boat shows it's the high dollar professional restorations that win as the points system does not allow for hot rodding of any type. and the "old boys club" seem to vote together. So, I thought my boat may have a chance on the internet...with public voting.

4) There were so many different types of boat in the contest . Very few (if any) others were stern drive. I wanted to show that Antique wooden boats are as versatile as current boats but, I'm afraid when it comes to "old" people like "OLD".

Thanks again for the support...
