I joined last November and just started posting. Hello to all members.

I am a member of the Checkmate forum and own a 1985 Starflite.

I am also building an all mahogany 16-1/2' inboard speedboat using the Crackerbox plans from Glen-L Marine Design. Won't be as fast as the Checkmate and not as smooth a ride. This hull only has a .5 degree deadrise.

But nostalgia will be big.

When I was a kid, I had a Glen-L Pee-Wee - it was a really cool boat.
