A little something about myself.
Growing up, my mother, sister and I, spent the summers aboard a 35’Chris-Craft Roamer in Northport, MI during the 50s and 60s. My Father would commute back and forth from Detroit for the weekends. I have worked at a boat yard, sailing instructor at a summer camp, scuba diving, life-guarding, and a swimming instructor.
Now at the age of 52, my wife and I have tested the waters with many boats. Owning a construction company in Northport keeps me busy. But with our eyes now on a live-aboard retirement, we will continue living the passion that’s never left my heart.
With decades of experiences and a wealth of memories, I have often thought of writing stories of the past and the adventures to come.
You are all interesting and educational. Hope I am worthy.

Hi Christopher,

Thanks for joining the community, it's nice to have you aboard. :)

Do you currently have a boat? If so, what kind?

Kewl boat!

Did you check out the pics of the 27' Formula I posted in the Toronto Boat Show thread?

That was a very sweet boat.

If you like, feel free to upload some pics of your rig to the gallery, you can put them into Formula section. You can then link to the pictures and post them here on the forum too if you wish. :)

Thank You, it's a "02" and we have only had Her two years.
I appreciate your thoughts, we will have to dig-up some pics.

If you have not seen it. There is a good artical in Boating Magazine, on the Porter Family.

Thanks again, Christopher
