OH man.....good old mother nature decided to bless me for my bday/fathers day.looked like rain was coming..but cleared up, and was gorgeous. 83 partly cloudy, 6mph south wind. Water was generally smooth.
The mrs. had to work, but she got home, we headed for the old muddy. Went for some cruisin, Then watched the concert and fireworks for the local festival from the water again. Concert was a glam metal tribute band-HILARIOUS. felt like I was in a timewarp to highschool-woke up in 1990! lol Stayed out there until 11:00 it was a wonderful night. Only this year, I had the correct anchor(thanks to you fine folks here) and didnt spend the whole night trolling back and forth so my kids could watch the kids show ( girl from good luck charlie) LOL.
fireworks were done from a barge, that parked itself 150 yds away, it was INCREDIBLE.
my little boat performed flawlessly. But, as small note: blue led's attract river bugs like nobody's business.
have a good week gents! ill slap a pic or two up, once they upload.... takes awhile with my autobackup.
