Best looking half ton?

Alrighty Gang,

What are your candidates for the best looking 2008 1/2 ton pickup?

Don't tell me which is the best mechanically, that's not what this about.

Just tell me which is the best looking one out there.

Once we get some candidates, I'll put up a poll. :)
 
I like the new GMC better than the Chev to be honest.

There is something about the front end of the new Chev that I don't like.
 
The only real difference is the front end on the two.

I personally don't like the Chev front end. The GMC is much better looking to me.

What GM should have done IMO, is they should have used the front end from the Tahoe or the Avalanche on the new pickup. ;)
 
Honestly, the GMC front end is better looking.I think that's the only difference in the two models other than the badging.

GM offers a optional grill for the Silverado,I don't know if you can get it on the GMC or not.So we have two for the poll and I'm losing. :p
 
What about the Dodge?

To me it's been arguably the best looking truck on the road for quite some time.

The reason I don't buy one is.....

Poor gas mileage compared to the GM

Questionable reliability record...

Too tall to fit in a standard garage...

If I bought one just based on looks though, it just might be a Dodge. :thumb:
 
Tough question. I DO prefer the GMC over the Chevy version this year. The current Dodge looks good, and I've liked the current Ford F150. All very close I think. And it depends on color! I don't like the Nissan at all, and I only like the Tundra over the Chevy but not over the GMC/Dodge/Ford. And now there's an updated '09 Ford F150 to look at.

So to answer your question, the one that looks best to me is:

NONE! It all depends on the day and the color :rof: I can't choose.

Now if your asking about which one I'd buy, that's a WHOLE 'nuther story. I never buy a vehicle on looks.
 
My lease is almost up on my '05 GMC.

I was in the showroom the other day and they had an all black GMC Sierra Denalli. :drool:

It was pretty awesome. :thumb: :)
 
I'd have to go with the Dodge; they have done a great job of modern styling while incorporating a very retro look...... for those of us who can remember what a REAL truck is supposed to look like.:thumb:
 
We actually were debating the '08's when we started this thread.

We almost need to start another and debate the '09's. :)
