I seen one of these in OVERTON's. It is called a Dry Wave Air Dryer.

It is supposed to prevent mold/mildew. They have one listed for $69.99

Anyone have one, or have an opinion of them ??

Yeah, I have the link. It is:

www.overtons.com

It is called a Air Dryer (Humidifier)

It is Item # 71503 for $69.95

There is usually 2 of these one is a larger output than the other.

Pull up their home page, go to the seaarch area on the upper right of the page, and type in air dryer, and it will take you to it.

The user reviews seemed pretty decent.

But as the great Neil Young song goes.....

Saw on it TV....

Ordered it by phone....

Then I got it home...

And it was a Piece of Crap! :rof:

It seems like a good idea to do something like this, But I wonder if there's a filter in there you will need to keep on cleaning every once in a while?:eek::eyecrazy: You might want to call overtons maybe they will know.

Wouldent an air dryer be a de-humidifier? I have a couple of units like this. There is no filter to replace in mine. I believe they work simply by keeping the living space @ a more constant temeprature, preventing condensation which can make things wet and promote mold growth.
