Welcome aboard Mike, nice to have you with us.

I've seen a few around over the years, I'm not sure if we've got any members with one so far though.

Do I assume correctly that you have one yourself?

If so, do you have any pics of it? :)

My dad had a 1972 18' Fiberform with a 120hp mercuiser when I was a kid, solid boat, he bought it in 1978 and sold it in 1991, I have alot of good memories from that boat.

'78 Fiberform 18'

Hi Chris-
I do have the Fiberform 18' previously mentioned, having just bought it. The gentleman I bought it from apparently bought it a few years ago as pretty much just a hull, and restored it to it's current condition. It has a Mercruiser 140 4 cylinder engine with a Volvo outdrive. The interior is somewhat spartan, as it was used strictly as a fishing boat. It has a full canvas cover in near new condition, which is probably worth what I paid for the boat.I retire at the end of this month, and plan to work on restoring it, between crabbing trips.
Though there are a good many Fiberform boats in this area, in all sizes, parts appear to be somewhat scarce. I can't get a line on a scrap boat yard in the area, despite being here in the second largest marina on the West Coast. There is one down in Oregon that sells parts from a large selection of used boats he has collected.

Sounds cool Mike. :)

Do you have any pics of it? It would be neat to watch you restore it and bring it back to life. :thumb:

If you like, I can create a dedicated Fiberform forum and gallery category for you. :)

I went ahead and created the gallery category and dedicated forum.

The gallery category is set up so that you can upload some pics to it if you like. :)
