1970 Combo-Cruiser Houseboat

Just rescued this 1970 Combo-Cruiser Houseboat from a local farmer. I would like to reinforce the top to allow it to be used as a sun deck area, but I don't want to disrupt the lines of the boat. Any suggestions?

had to google that boat....if its like the one in this pic, I SERIOUSLY dig it....

you could try building a teak deck up there....or that starboard stuff...if its in the sun all day long though I dont know...carpet it...

I have zero idea of what the roof frame is like. GOod luck
