    INS.

I have some of my boats covered under my house policy. The Check has to get seperate insurance due to the fact it's considered a high performance boat.

    RUDES VS MERCS

    Leaky row boat

You could try just hammering the rivets similar to how I suggested. Just get someone to hold a sledge against the one side of the rivet while you tap on the other side. That will sometimes tighten things up and stop the leak. :)

    Leaky row boat

If you want to go that way, I've seen this aluminum/soldier stuff in a stick that you can put on that works ok. The rivet deal is actually a lot easier than you think and you can get a box of them pretty cheap. This year I had to put four new rivets on my old aluminum to reattach the back...

    Leaky row boat

BP, Have you thought about buying some new rivets? What I've done with quite a bit of success, is that I've drilled out old leaky rivets and then installed new ones. I get the rivets that you hammer on one side while holding another hammer on the other side of the rivet. These types of...

    Going for a ride!

It was a little chilly that day. It was fun though. I bought that motor last year, it's supposed to be one of the last 2 strokes Merc made. It's a 2006 model. Merc actually sold 2 strokes in Canada a bit longer than they did in the U.S. Anyhoo, I got one of the last of the breed. It...

    Live and let Die.

I'll bet that movie sold a few boats for Glastron. We had a Bayflite with 85 on it, and our neighbour up north had a Bayflite with a 135 'Rude on it.
