Hi Steven, The way you do it, varies a bit depending on your specific model and the kind of electronics it has on board. I would be careful trying to set the timing without a proper manual, as getting the setting wrong could cause pre-ignition, which can result in piston damage. -Chris

I think part of the "big-deal" for the Checkmate guys, is that there has been this underlying fear that Doug will turn Checkmate into Baja. And I would say the main reason they don't want that development, is that they feel Baja had inferior construction and quality as compared to 'Mate...

It's typically a weight related issue, as in the perverbial more weight on wide side of the boat than the other. It's not uncommon that the listing will be more pronouced at speed because more boat is out of the water. Also, depending on factors like, where the fuel tank is located, the list...

link n sync is more or less a catchy name for OMC's throttle and timing advance adjustment procedure. So basically what they mean, is doing the procedure of adjusting the carb linkage (for wide and idle throttle) and then syncing the throttle and the ignition timing advance. See if this post...
