Mariner 75 Hp Cold Natured? Need Help on Starting

I don't think so...If it were a float the problem would exist whether cold or hot. And would probably yeild other symptoms other than just hard starting. Choke is used upon cold engine startup and is a good place to start. I say check/add a primer bulb as it may actually be something else...

Glastron in "Live & Let Die"

Thanks. I did the engine from the crank out this past winter. I added Vortec heads and went to 1:6 rollers and we did zero deck the block. It has an Edelbrock induction package performer carb and manifold. She dyno'd just under 240HP @ 5100 with a very mild (near stock) cam. BTW, yes she's...

continued... Saturday was test#2 day. 3+ hours of flawless performance. There was a bit of a chop on the lake but, the Greavette handled it well. needless to say I didn't go for the high speed record. I did notce soe water in the bilge...this concerns me as wood boats do not have a drain plug...

If unclaimed, maybe file for the salvege rights... If you wait for others to do things for you, you can be waiting an awful long time.

Glastron in "Live & Let Die"

Great story! I always had an interest in the Glastron brand as they were "A Conroy Company" no relation to me but, nice to see your 'name in lights" so to speak. It didn't hurt that they were great boats too>

    Trailer tire question

They sell a lot because they are one of the few "Trailer" specific tires readily available (by a major manufacturer). I've never had an issue with one...and I have a "worn to the belts" pair in my garage.

Friday 4PM...notice a puddle forming under the stern of my boat. A closer inspection uncovers a leak from one of the trim cylinder braided lines. I race down to the marine shop to arrive just before close...and they find me a replacement on a spare cylinder in the used parts van (big...
