    ~~ Seats ~~

The "tear" is not even close to the edge of the seat. THe area is about 2" wide. It's almost centered. I haven't heard back from the company, so we will see what they say, and then I will look.

    ~~ Seats ~~

We have a 2006 LARSON 204 Escape Deck boat with a I/O. As posted in the past, we have had seat "issues". While cleaning up the interior about a month ago, I noticed a "tear" in the very bottom of the back rest that attaches to the engine compartment lid. I notified LARSON, and was told that...

    Trim tab question

Thanx, for the reply, and the info. I figured that the trim tabs wouldn't be the answer, but was just tring to learn. It isn't that big of a deal, just kinda annoying. Again, Thanx !!!!!

    Trim tab question

We have a 20'-1" LARSON 204 Escape I/O F/S Deck boat, with a 5.0 L engine. When leaving the dock going through the wake zone area, I have to constantly "adjust" the straight ahead direction with the steering wheel, to keep the boat headed perfectly straight. Is this normal, -OR- would trim...

    Overheating problem

We kept the impeller. It didn't look bad to me, but I'm NOT a mechanic. The temp, is still running at the 175* mark. I guess that that is o.k. There is still an alarm that goes off intermittently. That is what the boat is at the dealership for right now. There are "3" other boats there...

    My latest "experience" with Gen-Mar

I was told by Gen-Mar/LARSON's warranty guy, that my boat warranty would begin, at the time the dealership took possession of the boat. NOT when I bought it !!!!!!!! My boset on the lot for almost a year, PRIOR to my purchasing it. I think that is W R O N G ! ! ! ! ! ! I'm considering a...

    Bilge area cleaning

I am wanting to clean out the area around the bilge pump. I don't want to damage the pump itself. I am considering using some Simple Green. I thought about some dish soap. I figured that bleach would NOT be a good thing. Ideas ??

    Overheating problem

Thanx, for the info. Are they as simple to change as one on an outboard ?? (I'm not a mechanic, just trying to figure out the labor cost).

    Overheating problem

The boat only has 23.4 hours on it. I don't think I exp;ained it right. On an outboard, I "think" this hole was for the speedometer. (I'm not sure). I did clean out some debris, out of the hole. Here's a "dumb question". Is there an impeller in the lower unit of the I/O unit ...

    Overheating problem

Went out for the first time yesterday. The engine in our boat, is a 5.0 Mercruiser carburated I/O drive. The temp began bouncing between 175/200 degrees, and an alarm went off intermitantly. I loaded up and came home. Upon investigation, the "only thing that I found", was that on the...

    Trailer step question

I am looking for a trailer step. You see them occasionally on a trailer tongue. HOWEVER, I want it to go on the starboard side of the trailer, (and posibly on the port side), to aide in putting the cover on, as well, being able to reach up in the boat. (I'm vertically challanged). Was told...
