I plan to,if I can get her out this year.Last year was a total flop in lines of boating time.She saw water once and I got no improvements done.:( This year I'm putting more time in for family and fun.Work will still be there later.

You gotta love those old Mercs.I have a 72 1150 on my Sidewinder and a 71 500 in my shop.Both start and run beautifully after all these years. My only complaint.....Damn they're thirsty motors. But then power has a price.

I'm thinking of starting around Port Severn,off hwy 400,and spending a few days touring around. Chris.I did see that site and found a lot of good info on the waterway itself,but nothing on how to properly plan for such a trip.What to bring,tips for getting dockage,and so on. I'm hoping...

I'm considering taking my family for a few day boating trip this summer,but I'd like to know more. Is it worth the cost? How hard is it to get camping spots and dockspace? Could my 16' Sidewinder do the job? I've hunted the net,but can't find anything to really help plan a trip like...

I have only one boat,an early 70s Sidewinder w/72 1150 Merc.But I have 3 more outboards in my shop.61 Flying Scott 75.2,69 Chrysler 45L and 71 Merc 500.Do they count?(LOL)

Since I only started using(for that matter aquired) mine late last season,and haven't had her out this year,I have to say there's been no change.

We're feeling it up here too.Not bad enough the economy has slumped,but our biggest industry(INCO) was sold to Brazilian mining conglomerant Vale.To add to the hassle,it's contract time.The union rejected Vale's offer and has been on strike since June,with no signs of an agreement anytime...
