awesome vids Will, that old inline looks like she still pulls hard and sounds great too.:thumb:

Thanks John . I love the inlines they are by far my favorite motor . I think the inlines look the best on the older mates. They might be the most powerful motor but I stand by them . And they do sound awesome . So much different than the V-6's

Yeah they do look good on the older mates, my father in law has a 87 inline 6 115 mariner and it sound a lot like yours, that thing got punished for years and still runs strong.

check out the sound of my 87 220 Mariner Magnum EFI, the original cowl was damaged so that's why it has a merc cowl, to me it has a sound all it's own, I love hearing that thing fire up, the first min or so is a little boring and then it picks up.

here's a warm start, starts like this every time

here's one just having fun on the last ride of the year, watch my son try and eat his fruit snack when I hammer on it, lol, it just shows how comfortable they are in a boat.

Ah man watching all these makes me want to get on the water so bad, still full blown winter up here, no sign of spring yet.

You gotta love those old Mercs.I have a 72 1150 on my Sidewinder and a 71 500 in my shop. Both start and run beautifully after all these years.

My only complaint.....Damn they're thirsty motors.
But then power has a price.

I plan to,if I can get her out this year.Last year was a total flop in lines of boating time. She saw water once and I got no improvements done.:(

This year I'm putting more time in for family and fun.Work will still be there later.

We didn't too much boating either. Can't remember why totally to be honest. Hopefully this year will be a bit better. :thumb:
