Seeking recommendations for boat

I am looking for a boat to fish in the Florida Keys. I would like something that can handle a range of depths - something that will be steady enough to head off-shore but with a shallow enough draft to hold up in 4 feet of water to jump tarpon. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of budget are you looking at?

Have you tried looking at some of the used ads on sites like boat trader to get some ideas? There are lots of nice center console boats that are good for fishing - I'm not sure if that's the kind of set up you would like though.

Thanks for the reply. I have looked at a bunch of used boat web sites, but there are so many different center console models out there. I am just looking for some input on what people like. I guess I am going to have to sea test a bunch to find out what works.

Any recommendations would probably depend on your budget. There are so many different kinds and sizes of those types of boats available. Some have single outboards, some doubles even triples on some. So the sky is really the limit. I would probably think about budget and then see what size you think will fit your needs best.
