LED is the way to go with lighting. Especially for motor vehicle lights.They use little to no power, and make no heat (comparatively) Also last forever, unlike incandescent. I have 8 strands in my boat, they MAY use a whole watt together. Ill be replacing my nav lights with LED too. the hood gets really hot so when Im loading and its been on, i always burn myself LOL.

Iv'e been WAY into them for awhile now. Now, Somebody just needs to get good at making those underwater LED's cheaper, and they'll be in the money....
